Application & Assembly

The slack rope switch is mounted at the designated position on the gate system and mechanically connected to the rope system. The axle lever transmits the rope tension directly to the switching contact. In the event of a voltage loss, the normally closed (NC) circuit opens and the control unit immediately shuts off the drive.

The slack rope switch is a safety-relevant component. Installation, connection, and testing must only be carried out by qualified personnel. Work must only be performed when the system is de-energized. A functional test is mandatory after installation.
