The MagAdapter Tape SMB 100 creates a magnetic base on non-magnetic frames. It's ideal as a base for gap seals like DockMag or PedDoorMag —e.g., on wooden, plastic, and aluminum doors .

Note (Important!): Please always order twice the length of the magnetic seal used (adapter tape is required on the right and left).

Application & Assembly

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly and allow it to dry completely.
Cut SMB 100 to the required length (tip: allow for right and left for each tape length).
Remove protective film, apply adapter tape without tension and press firmly .
Align and adhere the magnetic seal (e.g. DockMag / PedDoorMag ).

Practical tip: For doors subject to greater wear and tear, we recommend allowing the adhesive surface to cure for 24 hours before applying load.

What length should I order?

Order double the length of your magnetic seal – the adapter strip is required on both sides of the door leaf.

Will this stick to painted frames?

Yes, provided the surface is sound, clean, and free of grease. Test on an inconspicuous area first.

Is the tape removable?

The tape is highly adhesive. Removal is possible, but may leave residue.

Does this fit all magnetic seals?

It is designed as a basis for common magnetic gap seals (e.g. DockMag, PedDoorMag).

Ordering and collection: Order online and collect the gate personally from our warehouse.
