This LHW torsion spring is mounted on the right side of the door (viewed from the inside) in double spring systems. It balances the weight of the door leaf, relieves stress on the drive mechanism, and ensures smooth, controlled operation of the sectional door.

Safety note: Torsion springs are under extreme tension. Only work with suitable tension rods (Ø 12.7 mm), protective equipment, and with the drive completely switched off. Tormeister 24 strongly recommends installation by trained professionals.
