RS 301 Ramp Controllers (Solo)

If you already have a gate control system, you can use the RS 301 as a standalone ramp control system – tailored to the bridge type.

Model Mission Operation Key Features link
RS 301 K bascule bridges Keys: Lift / Auto‑Return 4 valve versions, shelter control, interlocks, rotary field test product
RS 301 V Push-lip bridges Buttons: Lift / Forward / Back / Auto‑Return 8 valve versions (2/3 valve), cycle counter, 24 V supplies for peripherals Product · with lowering function

Expansion modules EM 172 / EM 184

EM 172 – 4 inputs/outputs (MS-Bus)

For two-way traffic control and additional I/Os: MS-Bus module with 4 inputs and 4 outputs, including RJ14 cable (0.2 m) and 4-pin MS-Bus cable (0.5 m). Compatible with CS 255 and CS 320. To the EM 172 · EM 172 in CS mini housing

EM 184 – for 2 pull-in protection devices

Extends the control system with connections for two pull-in protection devices – optionally also pre-assembled in the CS mini housing. To the EM 184 · EM 184 in CS mini housing

Power supply: 24 V power supplies & emergency power buffer

24 V power supplies (2.5 A / 66.7 W)

variant Assembly Data link
24 V DC power supply (2 outputs) in CS mini housing IP65, pre-assembled, 1.5 m cable, Schuko 2.5 A / 66.7 W, 85-264 V AC input To the product

Practical examples (Mainz/Wiesbaden)

Replacement of folding wedge ramps in Mainz

Old unit, unclear wiring: With RS 301 K + CS 320, the bridge, including shelter locking, could be put into operation in accordance with standards – Auto-Return automatically lowers the bridge after loading.

Feed lip in Wiesbaden

New construction with 3-phase supply line: RS 301 V with 3 direction buttons and 8 valve versions, plus 24 V supply for traffic lights/sensors – clear operating logic for drivers and logistics.

FAQ – Industrial Gate & Ramp Controls

What is the difference between RS 301 K and RS 301 V?
K = Folding wedge bridges (4 valve versions, lift/auto-return operation); V = Telescopic lip bridges (up to 8 valve versions, lift/forward/back/auto-return operation).

When should I choose CS 320 in 230 V vs. 400 V?
230 V (Schuko) for single-phase supply; 400 V (CEE) for three-phase drives or higher loads. Optionally with integrated main switch.

Do I need a module for additional functions?
Yes – e.g. EM 172 for two-way traffic control (4 I/4 O) or EM 184 for 2 entry protection devices.

Is there an emergency power solution?
Yes, the 230 V emergency power buffer (2000 VA) keeps the control system temporarily operational in the event of a power failure.

Which 24 V supply makes sense?
In the control cabinet: DIN rail power supply (66.7 W). Outdoor/compact: IP65 CS mini housing with 1.5 m Schuko power cable.

Where can I find all ramp/industrial gate controls?
In our collections: Marantec industrial door controls and loading technology controls .
