Installing gap seals on sectional garage doors – it's that easy!
Get started right away: measuring, cutting, assembly & functional check. With fixed CTAs for choosing the right collection and variant.
1) Measurement
Length: Measure the clear width at the bottom edge (multiple points). Gap width: Note the largest measurement.
Surface: magnetic (steel) → direct; non-magnetic → use adapter tape as a base.
Adapter band & door seals (overview)2) Cutting & Preparation
- Cut the profile to length, deburr the edges.
- Clean the surfaces to be fitted (dry, grease-free), place a mark in the center.
Choose a wider version for very uneven ground.
3) Assembly
- Position the profile in the center and press down evenly.
- Check the side areas; add protective plates if necessary.
- Extend/retract the gate, fine-tune if necessary.
4) Function check
Hand on the bottom edge: no draft noticeable. Visually: no light gap. Test in windy conditions.
Press down again after 24 hours and keep the surface clean – dirt reduces the sealing effect.

Do I need to drill?
No, magnetic mounting – easily retrofittable.
What if the ground is very uneven?
Choose wider profiles; if there is a slope, slightly differentiate the alignment left/right if necessary.
